If you don't know what happened, the Yand Phantom and the Metroid drained each other's life force out of their bodies, reducing them both to dried-up husks, just like before the end of Super Metroid. And judging by its size, I'll assume it's a Tallon Metroid.

He's very miserable not just because he's semi-suicidal, but because he can't breathe in there (notice the zipper). It's hard to tell because his rotting-corpse-breath is fogging up the costume's eye-glass.

OMG, GAHMAH'S FACE IS SHOWN!! Well, only a part of it since the rest of it is missing flesh. If you're wondering where his chest plating is, it broke off in whatever mess he was in. Also, those things on the forearms are his wristblades, he does have purple blood, and he does have a twisted ankle. Don't worry, he'll grow his lost parts back. If you're wondering why he's smiling, he's not: it looks like he is because he doesn't have lips right now, and skeletons always look like they're smiling.
